2000 Strong Adventure Camp is a Christian youth camp and serves youth Grades 3-12.

Where is the campground located?
Camp ground is located one hour north of Dallas, TX at YMCA Adventure Camp Collin County.
Who are the counselors, are they trained and has a background check been done?
The Counselors are 2000 Strong Youth for Christ staff and YMCA Staff who have been interviewed and trained in accordance with the State Law of Texas as well as a background check performed.
Where do I get registration forms for 2000 Strong Adventure Camp?
You may download the registration forms and Health form from the tab above please fill both forms out and send it to: 2000 Strong Youth for Christ P.O. Box 117024 Carrollton, TX 75011. You may bring the completed forms to the camp.
What is the cost of camp?
The cost of camp is $197.00
Can I use Paypal to pay for the Adventure Camp?

Is there a deposit?
No deposit required.
Is is necessary to pre register my child for camp?
We encourage you to pre register and we offer a 10% discount if you register early.

When are the registration forms due?
Registration forms must be postmarked by July 14th 2010, if you miss the deadline for mailing you may email the registration forms to: Sheila or bring the completed forms to camp and present them at check in.
Are there any discounts?
Yes, we offer a 10% discount if you preregister for camp.
What time is check in?
Check in is at 5:00 p.m. at the Education Building located to the left of the bus drop off there will be signs to direct you.
Where is the check in desk located?
The check in desk is located inside the Education Building.
What time is Check out?
Check out is at 12:00 p.m. inside the Education Building
What is the dedication service and where is it located?
The dedication service is a wonderful experience and we invite parents, family and friends to attend. The service begins at 10:30 Sunday August 1st. and will be held in the Education Building. As a courtesy please plan on staying for the entire service so that we may have few interruptions and distractions.
What are the rules on cell phone use and other electronic devices?
Cell Phones and other electronic devices are allowed however we ask that you turn them off during class and worship times.
Will there be a canteen?
Yes, please bring extra money to purchase items such as soft drinks, candy bars, chips, and other snacks.

Strong Arm Promotion
The goal of this promotion is to provide youth with the opportunity to witness for Jesus Christ and share a great camping experience with their friends.
2000 Strong Arm gives all youth who bring a friend to our 2000 Strong Adventure Camp a special discount of 25% off their camp fee.
Your participation in this promotion is greatly encouraged! If you plan on bringing a friend, see the 2000 StrongArm Promotion on the Registration Form, and fill in the name or names of your friends. Please make sure your friends get a Registration Form; everyone is required to have these forms completed and signed before entering the camp.

Glad you asked! Every place has rules and it is very important that everyone knows them , we lease the campground from the YMCA of Collin County therefore we are bound by their rules and there is zero tolerance. However, these are common sense rules and are for your protection.
Here is the Do Not List:
No alcohol, tobacco, drugs, or drug paraphernalia allowed.
No fireworks, sparklers, firecrackers, matches, lighters, or any combustible items allowed.
No firearms, knives, chains, or any weapons.
No foul, rude, or degrading language.
No one is allowed in or around any activity sites without a trained YMCA staff member ( examples: pool, rock climbing wall, ropes course, field house, etc.)
No one allowed to stay in the cabins alone and unsupervised.
No one allowed to leave the campgrounds during the retreat.No wandering off (there are over 400 acres of land - a staff person must know your whereabouts at all times.)
No materials brought to the campgrounds designed to play pranks or tricks.
No leaving the cabins after Lights Out. There is security on site and you will get caught.
No breaking into any campgrounds facility after it is closed. (sorry- no midnight snacks)
No swimming in the lake at any time.
Do not destroy, damage, or vandalize any camp property, or any of your fellow camper’s property.
You will be held financially responsible.
No sexual misconduct or harassment of any kind.
No fighting.
No pornographic materials.
Attire (we will be following the rules set by the schools):
No gang related attire No t-shirts displaying foul language, suggestive wording, or drug or alcohol advertising
No revealing or see-through clothing
All pants/shorts must cover your backside
Shorts with suggestive words are not allowed
Shorts should be long enough so that your finger tips touch the bottom of them when you are standing - nothing shorter please.
